High Impact Email 5

OK, it has been a while since High Impact Email 5 was shipped to WP X5 owners, and the HIE 5 install problems seem to have been (mostly) solved.

Now for the payoff question.

If you have High Impact Email 5 installed... are you (successfully) using it?

I've seen lots of posts fussing about HIE, but I don't recall seeing any posts about how great it is, or how easy it is to: "Create Stunning, Studio-Quality Emails".

And, what is "studio-quality" E-mail?

To me it is a lot of hype. I have uninstalled it, I have not got time for fancy emails, straight to the point and be done with it is my motto.

As for buying it at $149 from their website, they have got to be having a laugh. I could get all the Serif main programs for that.

Apparently, those who do use HIE, either didn't read this thread, or didn't bother to make a post.

I think HIE is okay, but I'm not using it at the moment. I was going to... I was about 99% converted when someone mentioned MailChimp (which works a lot better for me because I can view stats, unsubscribers, etc. after sending out the email).

Since then I haven't really looked back at HIE. Maybe I will one day.

Having used HIE 5 I think it's a good tool and haven't had any problems with it. Their look really good and are easy to change. just my $.02
