Lightbulb Converting MPG o FLV

I exported from MoviePlus5 as a MPG file, then used Flash Videoencoder to convert to a FLV file to add to a website.
The MPG file plays fine but the FLV file plays with sound but without picture.
Can anyone suggest a reason?

Lightbulb Re:*Converting MPG o FLV

sounds to me like a faulty codec in your conversion software.
i had exactly the same problems going from flv to avi and back to flv again
- formats and codecs are a pain sometimes

what converter are you using?

regards

jim

ah well i'm not so sure that'd be the problem then, as adobe *generally* are fine with plugins codecs and the like.

hmmmmmm...

have you noticed this problem before, or has this just happened.
could it be a corrupt core file - maybe something has been overwritten if another prog has been installed recently?

is there a repair facility on the install side, rather than a full reinstall?

regards

jim

I've not noticed this problem before.....I'm pretty sure I have exported as MPEG before using MP5 and then converted successfully to FLV ....I've got round the problem for now by exporting as an AVI file and then converting that successfully to FLV.
