Lightbulb Anyone use Impact Plus?

Has anyone used Impact Plus to create web graphics/animation to use in WebPlus? Any thoughts or opinions? How would it compare to making simple gif animations?

You haven't exactly allowed a lot of time have you? People posting here do have jobs to go to you know :-)

As a regular visitor here I can't recall anyone saying they have used IP+ but there's always a first isn't there?

Jobs? I thought this *was* your job! Sorry for sounding impatient... I've found that it is sometimes necessary to kick-start low interest threads... Also, I'm in California so there's probably a bit of a time difference between me and most of you guys.
I remember people asking about creating flash animation for their web pages, so I was curious if anyone had tried this other Serif offering. I got it awhile ago but haven't done much with it.

Anyway, thanks!

Joe,

Sounds like an uncharacteristically slow response for these forums, but it's still less than nine hours since you started this thread. What qualifies as a "simple" GIF animation?

It is possible to create stuff in ImpactPlus 5 and use it in MoviePlus 5.

From one of the the Serif product description http://www.serif.com/movieplus/movie...-features2.asp pages of MoviePlus 5...

"Add static or animated scenes you've created with Serif's ImpactPlus 4.1 or higher, for impressive special effects, 3D text, logos, credits, and intros."

I've never tried it, so I have no idea how easy (or difficult) it is to do, or how good (or bad) the results can be.

Don't be surprised when you continue to get what you always get.

I used it a while back to make introductory scenes for an AVI that I made with MoviePlus. Worked fine. The most complicated thing I did was an "implosion" of letter fragments into a title and that wasn't very hard to do once I learned how.
