O with a line through it normally implies a 0 (zero) to distinguish it from a o (letter o), I think!

Welcome to the Serif forums, marilynann.

As Jeff ('emmrecs') has indicated, the '0's are almost certainly numerals rather than letters. Please see Patrick Connor's post here on the DaisyTrail forums.

In some (all?) Scandinavian languages, the letter 'o' has an accented variant with a line through it - I think it could be this that the OP requires. Both the lower and upper case versions are available via Insert | Symbol.

But I thought the OP's problem was to do with installation of CAP? My assumption was that this concerned entering the Installation/Product Key.

You're right ... it's early.

Hi Ali.

As a retired teacher I know how much (later) Saturday mornings mean! Even when the schools are on holiday!

I'm also having trouble installing but my problem is no product key at all - create and craft have told me to uninstall my original craft artist programme and then this CAP cd will autorun. Am very very wary of doing this as it sounds as if I would lose all my saved work and digikits - any ideas?

Hi Francesanne. Welcome to the Serif forums.

I'm not sure about your specific question about digikits (saved work should remain completely untouched by an uninstall of CraftArtist) but the advice you were given by Create and Craft seems entirely in line with what is in Sarah W's reply to a similar question http://forums.serif.com/showthread.php?t=110709.

So, uninstalling would not affect your saved work and, given that the digikits are each an "additional" install, I don't think uninstalling CA should remove them. However, it might be best if you contact Serif Support (either by phone or email) to confirm this.

Create & Craft have given you the correct advice - we at Serif provided them with that solution for the missing product key problem.

You will not lose any of your saved work or digikits because they should all be saved in your Documents folder, not in with the program itself.
